These are some of my all-time favorite love songs, songs that make me think of love, or just put me in a generally happy mood! Check out this not-so-infinite playlist and let me know some of your favorite love songs too!

1. Remedy, Adele

This song holds such a special place in my heart. My first dance with my husband at our wedding was to Remedy and (after watching our wedding video over and over I can confirm) there was not a dry eye in the whole venue. What makes this song special to me is that not only did my husband pick it out, but he also explained why with such a thoughtful reason. He said that no matter what, that he would always be there to protect me and provide remedy. *Swoons*

2. Call Me Al, Paul Simon

I know, I know. How can I go from Adele to this crazy tune? Truth be told, this is one of my favorite songs to jam to (plus Africa by Toto but that won't be on this blog). This isn't necessarily a "love song" but it has a funky beat and you can't beat Chevy Chase in the music video. This is just a fun, quirky song that makes me want to sing in my car with the windows down.

3. Shallow, Bradley Cooper & Lady Gaga

Wow. Just wow. I saw A Star is Born in theaters and from the first time I heard this original song, I couldn't keep the tears in. This is such a powerful song with a deep understanding of having someone be there for you. The live version of the two of them together *literally* made my jaw drop. I think that this was a well deserved Oscar win!

4. Don't Want to Miss a Thing, Aerosmith

Funny story, but when I was maybe about 8 or so years old, I was in a dance recital and it was video taped. Much to my family's annoyance, after we recieved the tape post-show, it was the ONLY thing I wanted to watch. Long story short, there was an experienced semi-professional dancer that did a solo to this song and I remember trying to learn the choreography thinking I could dance like her one day (spoiler alert, I can't).

5. Love on Top, Beyonce

How can you not bop along to this gem of a song? This is a feel-good, get your foot tapping, finger-snapping jam. This has an old school influence that I love, and can we talk about the 857 key changes in this song?! Beyonce is a true talent and one of my favorite artists of all time. Anyone else remember when she performed this live and announced that she was pregnant with her first child? Goosebumps!

To say my music taste is all over the board would be an understatement. Hopefully I have introduced you to some new music or helped you rediscover some classics. Add these to your playlist to have a smile worthy moment in your day! Check out our Valentine's Day Vlog to learn a little more about us!
